Fraudulent websites are copying Overland Experten. They use our name, our product photography and our text to look genuine. Below are the ones we know about, how to recognise them and what to do if you have been scammed.

We sell exclusively through the addresses below. If you find another site claiming to be Overland Experten, it is not ours, however identical it looks.

How we will never contact you
We will never ask you for card details by email, text message or phone. All contact from us comes from info@overlandexperten.com or support@overlandexperten.com. Note that the fake sites publish our real support address as their own contact. A site showing an overlandexperten.com address is therefore not proof that it is ours — check the domain in the address bar instead.
Nobody has broken into our systems
Your data with us is unchanged and untouched. What happened is that material published openly on our site was copied. That requires no intrusion and it affects companies in every industry.
What we are doing about it
We have requested takedowns with the domain provider, reported the sites to Google's blocklist for unsafe websites and contacted the hosting companies running the servers. Work with the payment providers is under way. We are pursuing this until the sites are down.
How to recognise a fake shop
- The address in your browser is something other than overlandexperten.com or overlandexperten.no.
- Prices are implausibly low, often with large discounts on everything at once.
- There is no company registration number, no real address and no genuine contact details.
- Card payment is the only option — no Klarna, Swish or invoice.
- The text contains language errors or mixes several languages on one page.
Have you been scammed?
Contact your bank or card issuer immediately and block the card. Ask them to reverse the payment.
Report it to the police. In Sweden, via polisen.se or 114 14.
Get in touch with us. We can confirm in writing that the purchase was not made with us, which your bank will often ask for.
