The V2 model features a rounder and more aerodynamic hard shell, giving the tent a more modern appearance on the vehicle and a more streamlined feel while driving.

With a 200 × 130 cm sleeping area, Desert Cruiser V2 130 is well suited to 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. It is a practical mid-size option for anyone looking for more room than a narrower 120 model while still wanting a compact hard-shell rooftop tent that is easy to position on the vehicle.

Single-fold hard shell with a low profile

Desert Cruiser V2 130 is a single-fold hard-shell rooftop tent, which means that the sleeping area remains directly above the vehicle. This provides a stable feel while sleeping and makes the tent easy to use without folding out to the side. Like other single-fold tents, however, it requires more roof length than double-fold models.

Quick and easy to use

The hydraulic opening mechanism assists with opening and closing the tent, allowing you to create a ready-to-use sleeping area on the vehicle quickly. As a hard-shell rooftop tent, it also eliminates the need for a loose travel cover and several of the time-consuming steps often associated with traditional soft-shell tents.

Comfort and practical features

Inside, the tent features a 7 cm high-density mattress, built-in power ports and dimmable LED lighting with a mosquito-repellent function. This makes the tent comfortable to sleep in and easier to use with lighting, a fan or other electronics while travelling.

Windows, ventilation and materials

The large entrance and side windows provide plenty of light, views and airflow through the tent. The outer tent is made from 210D ripstop polyoxford with a PU 3000 mm rating, silver coating and UPF50+ protection, while the floor is made from durable 600D polyoxford with a PVC coating and PU 5000 mm rating.

Desert Cruiser V2 130 is made from durable materials and includes practical features that make it well suited to Nordic conditions. The interior height of up to 125 cm makes the tent comfortable to sit in, while the removable telescopic ladder supports a maximum load of 150 kg.
