Desert Cruiser V2 130 builds on what has made the Desert Cruiser so popular: low profile, fast handling and the practical benefits of a hard shell roof tent. The major difference is that the V2 model has a more refined design with a sleeker, rounder and more aerodynamic hard shell. This makes the tent look even more modern on the car, while the streamlined shape helps reduce wind resistance and wind noise while driving.

Practical size for 2–3 people

With a sleeping area of 200 × 130 cm, Desert Cruiser V2 130 is perfect for 2 adults who want to travel comfortably, or 2 adults and 1 child. The size makes this model a great middle ground between the previous 120 and 140 versions: spacious enough for comfortable sleep, yet still compact and easy to place on many cars.

Fast setup and pack-down

Desert Cruiser V2 130 is equipped with Wild Land’s patented hydraulic cylinder mechanism, making the tent easy to open and close. You open the tent, let the mechanism help, and quickly have a finished sleeping area on the roof. This makes a big difference in practice, especially if you often change location, arrive late in the evening or want to pack down quickly in the morning.

Built for Nordic conditions

Like other Wild Land tents, Desert Cruiser V2 130 is built with durable materials suited to changing weather. The rainfly is made from 210D ripstop polyoxford with PU 3000 mm, silver coating and UPF50+, while the inner tent is made from 190 g ripstop polycotton with PU 2000 mm. The floor is made from heavy-duty 600D polyoxford with PVC coating and PU 5000 mm, giving a robust and durable construction for camping in Nordic conditions.

Easy to use and stable in place

The telescopic aluminium ladder is removable and supports up to 150 kg. The tent has an interior height of up to 125 cm, making it comfortable to sit in and easier to move around inside. Together with the stable aluminium frame and durable hard shell, you get a roof tent that feels safe, well designed and ready for many seasons of use.
